Process

The WINDEATTarchitect design process consists of 7 different elements that combine in a myriad number of ways to influence the outcome of a project.  The weighting of each element determines the form of the project and how it is delivered. Here we have adopted the TANGRAM to present geometrically the creative architectural process and the variety of imaginative forms that the process can take.

The TANGRAM is a 4000 year old Chinese puzzle that consists of 7 geometric shapes cut from a square. The purpose of this puzzle like the design process is to use all 7 pieces to create multiple pictures or designs. Each piece of the TANGRAM puzzle represents one of the following 7 elements that in combination shapes a project outcome; CLIENT BRIEF, SITE, DESIGN, CONSULTANTS, DOCUMENTATION, CONSENT, CONSTRUCTION.
